2022-23 Mid-Continent Public Library Annual Report
In 2023, I was tasked with enlarging the Mid-Continent Public Library Annual Report to serve as both an Impact Report and a tool for Staff Recruitment. In collaboration with multiple stakeholders, we orchestrated the coordination of photography and copy. Leveraging Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill, I skillfully refined and manipulated selected photographs.
Additionally, I researched and crafted infographics using Adobe Illustrator to visually represent our financial impact from the preceding year. The layout of the final document was crafted using Adobe InDesign.
Quarterly Program Guide Publications
Every quarter, I coordinate and create a 40-page catalog showcasing upcoming Library programs across our 30+ district branches. As the primary coordinator of the project, I collaborate with our Marketing and Programming Department stakeholders to determine layout of the catalog.
I am responsible for creation, selection, and placement of front and back cover artwork, as well as advertisements throughout the document. I create content as needed to fill space and showcase services offered by the Library. After proofreading and edits are made by the Marketing team, I package and send the files for printing with outside vendors.
Multiple Brand Management and Logo Creation
In 2022 I was responsible for crafting the Logo and Brand Guidelines for The Culinary Center at the Mid-Continent Public Library. The stakeholders at The Culinary Center specifically requested colors that resonated with the essence of food, opting for deep greens, eggplant purple, lemon yellow, and carrot orange. Employing Adobe Illustrator, I generated several design options. The ultimate design features a horizontal orientation resembling a whisk and a vertical orientation reminiscent of a mixing bowl.
In addition to this project, I oversee various specialty brands under MCPL management, including Square One Small Business Services, The Story Center, Midwest Genealogy Center, Library-By-Mail, and Library Lovers.
